Messy Church is a wonderful and exciting adventure that happens in churches all across the world. It is an event that is for the whole family, children, parents, uncles and aunts, grandparents, yes we mean it, the whole family.
On the first Friday of each month, Hooe Baptist Church opens its doors and welcomes in everybody from the local community to come in and have some real good fun, doing things together as a family.
So often we can struggle to find time to spend together as a family having good times. Messy Church offers you not only the opportunity to do this, but to also meet other families from your local area. Full of exciting crafts that all the family can enjoy creating and taking part in, this is Church with a major difference. Do you like painting? Do you like creating? Do you love seeing smiles on the faces of all around you? Well this is the place to come.
Each month we explore a new topic and find great crafts to make, fun games to play, excellent stories to tell and of course a free meal to eat at the end. It’s absolutely free! (Although if you want to donate some money, you are welcome to)
Why not come along and see what it’s all about.

The church is committed to the Baptist Union Safeguarding policies as laid out in their manual ‘Safe to Grow’. All volunteers working with children and young people are recruited appropriately, checked through the government DBS and attend regular safeguarding training.
